In-floor heating...I highly recommend it
The floor is now ready for tile...we did porcelain tile from Lowes...the orange waffle stuff is Schluter Ditra which is an uncoupling membrane for underneath tiles...(also waterproof)

First course of tiles in the shower and by far the hardest row...note the bench at the top left...we had that cut to size at a local granite supplier...the piece we chose was quartz...the orange stuff on the wall is Schluter Kerdi which is a waterproofing membrane
The tiles are in place just need to grout...we went with an epoxy grout which is stain resistant and waterproof...a pain to use but well worth the effort
We did a banding around the perimeter of the shower...this is the finished product...
